Solar Energy

Global Power Solution, Inc. Design small‐scale, standardized and “containerized” 5MW and 10MW solar thermal power plants that are built in a factory and delivered to a site rather than constructed on a site.

Focus on Distributed Generaton for baseload and peakload solutons to overcome problems with site selecton, and to decrease transmission line costs and energy losses.

GPS establish regional presence through Industry partnerships, manufacturing centers and to incubate solar technology leadership to build a vertcally integrated global solar energy company. Small‐scale, affordable “containerized” solar thermal power plants built in a factory that can be deployed and commissioned quickly. Power plants that easily accommodate “hybridizaton” with natural gas, biomass or other fuel boiler /steam generator to allow 24/7 power generaton. Small‐scale Containerized CSP Technology  water purificaton, desalinaton, chilling and cooling, and process steam solutons. Potental for future large‐scale solar thermal power plants with thermal storage and Integrated Solar Combined Cycle (50MW – 250MW).

  • Each method of concentrating solar power convert different amount of energy.
  • In a solar trough, the working fluid is heated up to 150-350 °C, and then it is used as the hearing source to a power generation unit.
  • In the parabolic system, the working fluid is heated up to 250-700 °C. The heat is then used by a sterling engine to generate electricity.
  • In the solar power tower unit, the working fluid is heated up to 500-1000 °C. Then it is used for power generation or energy storage.
  • Ultimately, a solar power tower offer more energy efficiency and can store more energy than a solar trough system.
